06/06/2024

In this second episode of the Memory and Water theme entitled “Water and Pre-Hispanic Gardens” we have a conversation with Andrea Rodríguez Figueroa, an academic from UNAM who is passionate about Mexico’s historic gardens, landscapes, and plants. The “garden and water” relationship will expand in depth, inspiring our conception of water as a value in life. Andrea not only gives us information about our pre-Hispanic past and its relationship with water from conception and the Nahuatl language, the Tlaloque festival, and the request for rain. She also shares recommendations and the effects that her studies have had on her life.
