In March, 2023 the AguaVida Network hosted its first Water Fair in San Miguel's Plaza Civica. It was so successful that it has become an annual event on or around the occasion of World Water Day which takes place each year on March 22. The Water Fairs are very festive, featuring a variety of interactive workshops and performances for the entire family. Throughout the day, the AguaVida organizations provide information tables alerting the San Miguel community to the serious water problems we are facing in our region. Currently, Caminos de Agua, Tikkun and the Education Collaborative are participating in the Water Fair working group.
