What about the watershed?

Casita Linda

Our Casita Linda families in San Miguel Viejo recently performed a play called "What about the watershed?"

As part of our workshop program, social worker Magda Pérez had the wonderful idea to organize a play to create awareness about the problems that affect our Mother Earth. The main theme of the play is the water crisis and some solutions that we as a community can implement, such as planting more trees, taking care of our rivers and creeks, not throwing trash in waterways and paths, avoiding bonfires, water conservation, and teaching children to love and care for the environment.

Special thanks to Magdalena Perez Lopez, playwright; Alina Monterrubio, theater director; Fatima Encinas Zavala , set designer; Caminos de Agua, photos; and UU Fellowship of SMA our wonderful sponsor.
